Check the paint, wheels and interior in good light, confirm the VIN on the paperwork matches the vehicle, and make sure accessories you paid for are installed.
Signing the paperwork
The contract should match the out-the-door numbers you agreed on. Read the price, rate, term and any add-ons before you sign. Optional products like extended warranties should be clearly optional.
Tech setup
Ask the delivery specialist to pair your phone, set up the FordPass app, explain the driver-assist buttons and show you the trailer or charging settings if they apply.

- Key fobs counted and working
- First service visit booked
- Temporary tag and registration paperwork in the glovebox
Bring your insurance card and a charging cable for your phone. Those are the two most common delivery-day delays.
